The winter storm that caused the loss of power in many places, and snow to fall in many areas that don’t normally see snow, has also reportedly caused delays in supplies of the Covid-19 vaccine getting to the Central Coast. That means that a number of people in Santa Cruz and San Benito counties that were scheduled to get their first shots will have to wait. 100 people with appointments for today had those appointments cancelled. With the limited supply currently on hand, the 2nd doses are being given priority. Other first dose appointments may be cancelled as well.
