(08:35) Watsonville – A deputy was led on a short car chase in Watsonville yesterday, after he spotted a stolen vehicle. The suspect was seen driving the stolen Honda near Riverside Drive, where a car chase ensued. The driver eventually stopped in an empty field near the levee, and fled on foot. The suspect remains at large. The vehicle was returned to the registered owner.
