A stolen dog was reunited with its registered owners over the weekend. Back in November a Motorhome parked in Live Oak was broken into. Among the stolen property was a Blue Nose Pit Bull named Duke. Deputies soon arrested a male for his connection with the burglary, but he was reluctant to provide us with Duke’s whereabouts. This past week, an investigator followed up on a lead and was able to track down Duke on the North Coast. Fortunately, Duke was microchipped and Animal Control Officers were able to confirm his identity and release him back to his rightful owner.
