A 23-year-old man was arrested on saturday, after salinas police officers noticed the wanted man walking. Bobby Vasquez was identified as a suspect in a recent theft of copper gutters. Vasquez was seen by officers at abbot and alameda streets, and was taken into custody. he allegedly had additional stolen copper and steel at the time of his arrest. Vasquez was booked into monterey county jail for grand theft and possession of stolen property.
