(16:00) Salinas – The Salinas Police Department held a STING operation today on East Laurel Drive and Williams Drive in Salinas. The operation wherein a decoy officer would cross the street while another officer monitored if pedestrians would yield led to an estimated 70-80 ticketed citation over the course of the morning. As well as at least one arrest of a driver with a suspended license and an outstanding arrest warrant.
