The name of the woman, who was fatally shot during a stand-off with Salinas police officers on Friday, has been released. 20 year-old Brenda Rodriguez reportedly barricaded herself inside her vehicle after threatening another woman. While the hostage negotiation team was working to de-escalate the situation, Rodriguez brandished a gun….and several officers opened fire. The incident took place on the 1,000 block of East Laurel Drive.
