Salinas police arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of stabbing a man to death and attacking a woman. Brayan Uriel Parra was arrested by police Wednesday night in a home on the 1100 block of Fairview Avenue. Parra was in the home when two caretakers entered the house to clean it. Parra fatally stabbed one of the caretakers, 48-year-old Ramon Espinoza Ochoa, once in the back and later assaulted the other caretaker with a cell phone. He was booked into Monterey County Jail on suspicion of murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
