Central Coast squid fishermen are reporting good catch numbers. Last year the squid fishing season was described as disastrous in the Monterey Bay area. The lower catch numbers were thought to be due to higher ocean water temperatures. So Far this year’s squid fishery numbers in the bay are better than the last 2 seasons.
