A 43-year-old man was arrested Saturday on allegations of spousal abuse. Salinas police officers were called to natividad medical center at 10 p.m., after a woman arrived with a laceration to her head. Jesus Fernandez was contacted at his residence on the 4-hundred block of saint Albans court, where he was arrested. Fernandez was booked into monterey county jail.
