The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office leg of the Special Olympics Torch Run was run today (Sunday). The Torch Run is used to raise money to help support, and raise awareness of, the Special Olympics. The sheriff’s officer portion of the run was about 3 miles long, and it went along the coast.
