Special Permits will be issued for overweight trucks, that are carrying emergency supplies for Covid-19 Pandemic response. The issuance of the Special Permits is designed to allow the gross vehicle weight to switch from 80,000 pounds, to 88,000 pounds, for trucks traveling on state highways 5, 101, 99, 80, 15, 91, 405, 710, and 60.
