A Salinas Police Department employee has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. That non-sworn employee is thought to have been exposed while traveling out of state. Although the person self-isolated while awaiting test results, anyone who had contact with that person is also asked to self-isolate. Police patrols in Salinas are expected to continue as usual.
