A local chef suffered fatal injuries during a head-on collision outside Monterey Friday night. Monterey County sheriffs deputies identified the driver killed on Highway 68 as Ted Consoli. Consoli worked as an executive chef at Sticks Restaurant at The Inn at Spanish Bay for the past 8 years.
