Santa Cruz County Planning Commissioners voted Wednesday 5-0 to recommend a zone change for a Nissan dealership planned for the corner of Soquel Drive and 41st Avenue. They want County Supervisors to commit to doing a one million traffic signal project within three years to ease gridlock. The Soquel Drive-41st Avenue intersection is among the ten busiest in Santa Cruz County, with the Regional Transportation Commission counting over twenty-three thousand vehicles in 2016.
