Soquel High School students had to be evacuated from their classrooms yesterday (Thurs). Classrooms were evacuated shortly before 12:30 p.m. after a fire broke out in the woodshop area of the campus. Firefighters arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the blaze that started in the wood dust collection system. The student body was allowed back in class rooms around 1 p.m. Damage estimates have not been released
