A ground breaking ceremony was help for a planned movie theater in Soledad on Saturday. The event took place at the proposed site of the Preimer Theater on Nestles Road. The project has been in the pre-construction phase for the past 10 years. Currently residents have to travel 30 minutes to Salinas to see a movie. The theater is expected to open in 2020.
