A Soledad man has been arrested for gun and drug charges. 26-year-old Oscar Barrera is suspected of supplying drugs to cities on the Monterey Peninsula. On Tuesday, police served a search warrant at Barrera’s home on Monterey Street. Officers recovered heroin, methamphetamine, and a loaded firearm. Barrera was booked into county jail.
