A jogger who was shot twice in the leg yesterday near Soledad has been identified as an online sexual predator. Police say 20-year old Ruben Martinez was jogging along Metz Road around 3:30 p.m. when two people traveling northbound in a silver Honda, got out near Stonewall Canyon Road and fired multiple shots at him. Martinez was one of 14 men who was recently arrested in a child sex sting called Operation Mama Bear. No suspects have been identified and whether the victim’s recent arrest was behind the motive, remains under investigation.
