In state news… the Sierra snowpack is down 90-percent from just a month ago.
Weather watchers say there’s no need to panic but it has been a dry January. The golden state still has two more months of winter weather ahead and many of our reservoirs are at their average level.
For sake of comparison… last year on January 31 the snow pack was at 100-percent… today it stands at 72-percent.
