As a controlled burn continues at big basin state park, smoke could be seen for the next few days. Smoke was visible in the san Lorenzo valley area thursday, however the only fire was the one that is being monitored by cal-fire and other firefighters. About 8-hundred acres (between johansen road, gazos creek road, and middle ridge) are set to be burned in the operation.
