A Do Not Drink – Do Not Boil Advisory is still in effect for some customers of the San Lorenzo Valley Water District. For a copy of the map of the affected areas people can go on-line to: slvwd.com. The Advisory warns against using the tap water, and recommends bottled water for all drinking (including baby formula), brushing teeth, washing dishes, making ice or during any food preparation. The suspected issue with the tap water cannot be ameliorated by any of the normal methods such as boiling, bleaching, freezing or filtering.
