A local school superintendent, who initially planned to retire last year but decided to stay on to help her district through the pandemic, has announced her retirement. San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District superintendent Laurie Bruton says her last day will be June 30th of this year. She has worked in education for 35 years.
The district now begins its search for a new superintendent…..and that issue is scheduled to be addressed at the next board of education zoom meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. next Monday.
