Yesterday, a judge ruled against a lawsuit to stop Cal-Am from constructing a desalination test slant well. The AG Land Trust organization had argued against the slant well citing saltwater intrusion concerns. Later in the day, the Marina Coast Water District voted 3-2 in favor of building a solar supplemented water desalination plant. Construction should begin in about 18 months.
