Employees working from home that use the productivity suite known as Slack are unable to do so.
That’s because an outage was reported this morning after 7 AM.
According to service outage detection website DownDetector.Com, over 14,000 Slack customers have reported that they are unable to access the platform, with 71% of those having issues connecting and 27% of those affected are unable to send messages to their coworkers.
The outage is reportedly worldwide. Several workers who utilize the productivity suite have tweeted that they welcomed the chance to “slack off” on the first Monday of the new year.
