An environmental site assessment of Scotts Valley Middle School, will be presented to Scotts Valley Unified School District board members at their meeting tomorrow evening. The more than 500 page report shows that only 2 of the 7 potential contaminants require further action. They are the chemicals that were used to kill termites (that have contaminated some of the soil on the site) and lead (from the old paint on the building). The meeting is slated to begin at 6 p-m in Scotts Valley City Hall.
