(18:55) MORGAN HILL-A new development could effect the Sierra LaMar trial. A judge recently overturned a murder verdict in a different trial after determining the lead detective gave false testimony. The same detective testified as an investigator in the Sierra LaMar trial. The ruling may affect Antolin Garcia-Torres convicted of the kidnapping and murder of the Morgan Hill girl. The ruling could possibly be used to obtain a retrial.
