According to Wildlife Emergency Services (WES) a high number of sick bobcats are being located in Santa Cruz County. Wildlife photographs of the animals indicate a skin condition brought on by lowered immune systems. The condition is believed to be linked to eating rodents exposed to poisons. More than 40 sick Bobcats have been seen in the area in last 2 years.
