A shuttle to ferry pedestrians to Pfeiffer Beach is now available each week. Multiple agencies worked on the project, which launched Memorial Day weekend. The shuttle aims to ease pedestrian traffic on Sycamore Canyon Road, which leads to the beach, and comes in time for the summer season. The fee to ride the shuttle is $5 and the service will run from Thursday to Sunday. Officials plan to run the service through Sept. 2.
