A santa cruz county sheriff’s deputy had a gun stolen from her house on Sunday, along with a commemorative badge. The scotts valley resident reported that her standard-issue glock handgun was stolen, as was a badge marking the 150th anniversary of the sheriff’s department. The deputy was issued a new firearm, and the burglary is under investigation.
