FEMA has approved a 30-day extension of the shelter program for survivors of the CZU August Lightning Complex Fires. The program provides those survivors with emergency housing in a non-aggregate setting. This is the 2nd time since October that the shelter program has been extended.
The 86,509 acre wildfire destroyed more than 900 homes in the Santa Cruz mountains and North Coast areas.
