Asilomar beach in pacific grove has been closed by monterey county health officials. That, after about 8-hundred gallons of sewage spilled into a local waterway that flows to the monterey bay. The sewage overflowed from a manhole in pebble beach. asilomar beach is expected to remain closed until water samples indicate that water is safe for swimming.
