A Soledad man has been arrested in connection with the theft of two cars in the Monterey Peninsula. Deputies apprehended 45-year-old parolee Gary Joseph Dean this week for stealing a BMW and a Mazda last month. The second car was found in front of Dean’s residence Tuesday. He was also found in possession of property stolen from a vehicle burglary in mid-September. Officials say the convict has been arrested six times before for stealing cars between 2006 and 2011. Dean will return to court October 22nd.
