People who are planning to repair (or rebuild) their homes that were damaged (or destroyed) by the CZU Lightning Complex Fires, are encouraged to attend a special virtual town hall meeting being held this coming weekend. State and county regulations for Septic and Water System Permitting requirements are scheduled to be addressed at the Saturday morning town hall meeting. Prior to submitting a re-build application, CZU Fire survivors need to obtain Fire Safety, Environmental Health, And Geologic Hazard clearances. The virtual Saturday morning town hall meeting is set to be held from 10 to 11:30. State and county officials have said that whether or not people need a new or updated system will (in-part) depend on what they had before the fire…so things can be pretty site specific.
