(07:30) Monterey & San Luis Obispo – An evacuation order and two warnings are still in place for the Soberanes Fire that is burning in Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties. The evacuation order remains in effect for North Coast Ridge Road (from mile marker 1.5 to Marble Peak at the end of the road). The warnings have been issued for Tassajara Road from Carmel Valley Road to the Zen Center, and the intersection of Highway 1 and Anderson Canyon down to Dolan Canyon, and then East to North Coast Ridge road. The U.S. Forest Service reported this morning that the fire is 103,242 acres and is still 60 percent contained.
