(11:29) SALINAS- A known gang member was arrested with a loaded handgun in Salinas on Sunday. At about 9:45 p.m. patrol units responded to a report of a possible fight next to an Oldtown bar. Upon arrival officers spotted four men fleeing the area. 20 year old Angel Casas was apprehended nearby in possession of a loaded .45 caliber Colt semi-auto with an extended magazine. He was arrested for being a gang member in possession of a firearm, disturbing the peace, and resisting arrest. 21 year old Abraham Camacho was cited and released, 23 year old Ervin Griffin and 22 year old Jose Fregosa have been charged with disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, and probation violations.
