(08:20) SACRAMENTO – The full Senate approved a bill yesterday requiring pregnancy-related services facilities to give patients information on available assistance. All licensed facilities that provide family planning and pregnancy related services will have to inform patients about affordable contraception, abortion and prenatal care as well as how to obtain the services. Unlicensed facilities have to provide the same information as well as disclose that they are not a licensed facility. The bill AB 775, the reproductive freedom, accountability, comprehensive care and transparency act will now go to the assembly for final approval. (M.K.)
