(21:50) PRUNEDALE- Highway 101 was closed after a fatal accident yesterday morning. Authorities say that shortly after 5:30 a.m. a pedestrian was struck and killed on Highway 101 and San Miguel Canyon Road in Prunedale. Witnesses reported seeing a man ranting and raving in the northbound lanes before being hit by a Honda Accord driven by a 34 year old Soledad man. The roadway was closed down for nearly two hours while the accident was investigated.
