(10:37) SALINAS- A fire that started in an underground utility box destroyed two vehicles in Salinas early Saturday. Shortly before 2 a.m. fire fighters were dispatched to the 1700 block of Burlington Street to reports of a vegetation fire. On scene fire fighters requested four fire engines after finding two vehicles on fire and a residence being threatened. Crews extinguished the blaze and residents were allowed back into the home. The vehicles were a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
