(20:10) SALINAS- California State University Monterey Bay has finalized the purchase of the Steinbeck Center from the City of Salinas. City officials have announced the deal was formally completed on Wednesday. The University paid off 3 million dollars of city bond debt, and another 100,000 dollars for the property. The Center will remain in its current location. The University may use the rest of the building for educational purposes.
