(09:21) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Salinas trucking company has been fined for illegally disposing of hazardous waste. Robles Trucking Quality Service, Inc was found improperly stripping and removing asbestos material from a business before transporting it to a landfill. The company and its owner, Joaquin Robles, have been ordered to pay $150,000 in civil penalties and other costs. The fine may be reduced by $30,000 if the company adheres to the judgment requirements on time. (S.G.)
