(19:21) CARMEL VALLEY- Due to the Tassajara fire mandatory evacuations are in affect for Monterey county residents who live in the area between the intersection of Tassajara road and Carmel valley road to Tassajara and Cachauga (cache-aw-gwa) intersection. An evacuation advisory has been issued to those living on Parrot Ranch Road to Jamesburg. Both Tassajara and Cachuagua roads are closed at Carmel valley road. At this time, residents may leave, but no one will be allowed back in. The Red Cross has established a shelter at Carmel middle school, 4380 Carmel valley road.
