(08:30) Monterey – The city of Monterey held a public meeting on Wednesday to discuss the issues of affordable housing on the Central Coast. Some of the Topics that were discussed included creating a ban on short-term vacation rentals, adapting hotels into apartments, and creating shelter for the homeless. The city says they will present the ideas discussed with residents at the next city council meeting.
