(07:06) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Santa Cruz County officials are creating a pilot program to address illegal dumping. The county spends up to $400,000 annually to clean up discarded trash, mattresses, auto parts and appliances. On Tuesday, the board of supervisors approved a plan to install surveillance cameras at known illegal dump sites, including Eureka Canyon Road, Moran Lake Park and Greyhound Rock Beach. The pilot program is expected to launch in January. (S.G.)
