(07:50) MONTEREY COUNTY – A preliminary hearing for a Salinas murder suspect has been delayed. 42-year-old Davion Smith was arrested late last month in connection with the death of 26-year-old Tyler Webb. Webb was found in the Chinatown area August 25 with a major head injury. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead the next day. Following an investigation, Smith was apprehended and booked into county jail, with bail set at $1 million. His preliminary hearing was rescheduled Thursday to October 9. (S.G.)
