(17:45) SANTA CRUZ- The Santa Cruz County Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector has announced her retirement. Mary Jo Walker has worked for the county since 1989, first as a Public Works employee before she was elected in 2006. Walker has recommended the Board of Supervisors name Chief Deputy Controller Edith Driscoll as the interim department head when Walker leaves office at the end of the year. County voters will vote in a new controller in the June 2016 election.
