(09:34) CASTROVILLE – A Salinas man was killed Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 183. Officials say the 60-year-old victim was walking along the roadway just south of Espinosa Road around 11 p.m. He was then hit by a car being driven by 28-year-old Wilfrido Jacobo. The victim was pronounced dead shortly after. The incident is under investigation. (S.G.)
