(07:03) BOULDER CREEK – Two people were injured in a stabbing at a Boulder Creek restaurant Sunday night. The incident occurred at Scopazzi’s shortly before 9:30 p.m. A man and a woman reportedly attempted to leave the business without paying their bill when they were confronted by the restaurant’s owner. A waiter and two customers also stepped in to help the manager. The man then took out a knife and stabbed the waiter and one of the customers. Both victims were transported to the hospital and their condition is unknown at this time. The couple was seen fleeing the area in a black BMW. The assailant was in his mid-twenties with dark hair. His companion was a blonde woman in her twenties. Anyone with information is to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. (S.G.)
