(09:14) APTOS – An Aptos man was killed in a suspected DUI crash Sunday night. Officials say the 36-year-old victim was driving down Freedom Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. when he veered off the road. His vehicle struck several mailboxes, crashed through a metal gate and overturned. He was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was airlifted to a San Jose trauma center where he was later pronounced dead. The incident is under investigation. (S.G.)
