(09:16) CASTROVILLE – A woman was killed in a solo car crash in Castroville Thursday night. The incident occurred on eastbound Highway 156 shortly before 10 p.m. Officials say a car being driven by Nancy Fowler veered off the roadway, overturned and crashed into a guardrail. Fowler was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation. (S.G.)
