(08:52) WATSONVILLE – Two men were arrested in Watsonville this week on gun and gang charges. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of San Andreas Road Wednesday night, following a report of loiterers. At the scene, officers contacted 19-year-old Angel Fernandez Ruiz and 21-year-old Gabriel Vazquez Rivera. Ruiz was found in possession of a loaded revolver. Officers determined Rivera was on probation with a probation term to not associate with gang members. Both men were apprehended. Ruiz was booked into county jail and Rivera was later cited and released. (S.G.)
